    Our market presence in over 60 countries and our extensive product range make Merino Laminates the world's leading manufacturer and exporter of decorative laminates for the interiors segment.

    We showcase a range of world class, premium laminates with more than 10,000 designs, textures, colours and finishes. Complementary products from the Merino Group include plywood, melamine-faced particle board & MDF board, and post-formed panels for the interiors industry.

    The Merino Laminates brand came into existence in 1981, when the Merino Group extended its activity to laminates manufacturing, having entered the interiors segment with Plywood in 1974.

  • Infrastructure
    In its path of continuous growth and development, Merino possesses sound infrastructure with state-of-the-art facilities and a highly skilled and trained workforce. Merino, with its two manufacturing facilities has the combined production capacity of 40 million square meters of HPL per annum. Merino's three short cycle lamination facilities can produce pre-laminated particle and MDF boards in sizes varying from 2.5 X 6 ft to 9 X 6 ft. Following the principle of economy, Merino's three pre-lamination lines are located in the North and South of India, ensuring minimum logistics to the customer.

    Powered by the integrated approach at every stage of its operation, a printing facility has been set up to offer customised designs. A plate polishing and cleaning facility has also been installed for uniform surface finish of stainless steel moulds. Merino is the only HPL manufacturer in Asia to have a chroming and de-chroming facility that maintains chromed SS moulds, in order to produce non-directional chromed gloss plates. Merino also manufacturers its own formaldehyde and resins.

    Merino has presence in all major state capitals with offices and warehouses to ensure efficient logistics and delivery. Furthermore, an in-house fleet of vehicles always ensures on-time product delivery.

    We actively practice sustainability—whether by engaging in a long-term commitment to provide high-quality products, reliable services or lending ourselves wholeheartedly to strong community support. Ecological Conservationism is at the core of our sustainability practice and is achieved by:
    Meeting a major part of electrical and heat energy requirements through agro-waste fired boilers and steam turbines.
    Utilizing the ash, which is of organic origin, for making ash bricks.
    Utilizing the same ash as organic fertilizer, mixed with slurry from our Bio Reactors that produce Bio gas from the waste of the Food Processing Plant.
    Producing more than 500 Million tons of vermi-compost using the waste from the Potato Processing Plant.
    Burning all combustible waste in the incinerator, and utilizing the heat to dry agro waste used as fuel.
    Encouraging plantation and development of "Green Belts" inside our premises, as well as, in the neighborhood.

    We actively work towards reducing pressure on natural resources by adopting an effective pro environment stance alongside adhering to eco-conservationist standards.

    We have undertaken the following environment-friendly practices at our factories:
    FO/Diesel generators replaced with eco-friendly agro waste-fuelled turbines for power generation.
    500 trees planted in neighboring regions every year.
    A 'Green Belt' developed inside the factory by planting shrubs, flowers, grass & trees.
    Waste in all processes reduced to a minimum through an Environment Management Programme.
    Chemical Fertilizers complimented by vermi-compost made from potato peels.
    Boiler ash used in brick making.
